Cambrils es una pequeña ciudad portuaria en la Costa Daurada de España (“Costa Dorada” en el idioma local), al suroeste de Barcelona. Ofrece placeres costeros gracias a su costa mediterránea, que tiene sólo 7 km de longitud pero contiene 9 playas de diferentes tipos de arena. Podrás encontrar retazos de la historia romana mientras paseas por el Casco Antiguo, y muy cerca del centro hay un parque modernista, histórico, botánico y zoologógico – PARC SAMA.
Cambrils is a small port town on Spain’s Costa Daurada (“Gold Coast” in the local tongue), southwest of Barcelona. It offers seaside pleasures thanks to its Mediterranean coastline, which is only 7-km long but comprises 9 different sandy beaches. You can find bits and pieces of Roman history while strolling through the Old Town, and a very special modernist, historical, botanical and zoological park close by – PARC SAMA
Con 14 hectáreas de naturaleza, este espacio al aire libre enclavado en el Baix Camp Tarragonés, entre Cambrils y Montbrió del Camp, es uno de los mejores ejemplos de la jardinería del romanticismo en España. Fue construido como residencia estival para la familia de indianos Samà, marqueses de Marianao.
With 14 hectares of nature, this open-air space nestled in the Baix Camp Tarragonés, between Cambrils and Montbrió del Camp, is one of the best examples of romantic gardening in Spain. It was built as a summer residence for the Samà Indian family, marquises of Marianao.
Protegido como Bien de Interés Cultural (BIC) en la categoría de Jardín Histórico, Parc Samà pertenece al Itinerario Europeo de Jardines Históricos. También forma parte de la Alianza para el Cambio Climático de Jardines Botánicos y de la Red Española del Pacto Mundial de Naciones Unidas, de esta forma se compromete a integrar sus principios en el plan de actuación del parque e involucrarse en proyectos cooperativos que contribuirán a la consecución de los ODS, Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible.
Protected as an Asset of Cultural Interest (BIC) in the Historical Garden category, Parc Samà belongs to the European Itinerary of Historical Gardens. It is also part of the Botanical Gardens Climate Change Alliance and the Spanish Network of the United Nations Global Compact, in this way it is committed to integrating its principles into the park’s action plan and getting involved in cooperative projects that will contribute to the achievement of the SDGs, Sustainable Development Goals.
El conjunto arquitectónico incluye un palacete, un lago con puentes colgantes y jardines concebidos en pleno romanticismo, un modo ver el mundo donde los sentimientos priman por encima de la razón. Los jardines románticos se diseñaban con la premisa de romper con la rigidez y estructuración del jardín francés y volver a la naturaleza, mostrando un afán muchas veces desmedido por lo salvaje y lo exótico.
The architectural complex includes a mansion, a lake with hanging bridges and gardens conceived in full romanticism, a way of seeing the world where feelings take precedence over reason. Romantic gardens were designed with the premise of breaking with the rigidity and structure of the French garden and returning to nature, showing an often-excessive desire for the wild and the exotic.

Cambrils tiene unas playas excelentes que se extienden a lo largo de 9 km donde puedes disfrutar del maravilloso clima mediterráneo durante todo el año. Las playas son de arena fina y dorada, con suaves pendientes de entrada al mar, aguas tranquilas y poco profundas y una orografía que las hace muy seguras para ir con los más pequeños.
Cambrils has excellent beaches that stretch for 9 km where you can enjoy the wonderful Mediterranean climate all year round. The beaches are of fine golden sand, with gentle slopes at the entrance to the sea, calm and shallow waters and an orography that makes them very safe to go with your children.
